About Tracy
Mediageist was founded by Dr. Tracy Elizabeth, a developmental psychologist, researcher, and policy leader in the technology space. She has a unique expertise on youth wellbeing in digital spaces like AI, social media, streaming content, user-generated content, and gaming. She holds advanced degrees from the University of South Carolina and Harvard University. Her studies at Harvard explored how creators can develop entertainment media to enrich the social and academic wellbeing of kids and teens. Dr. Elizabeth has managed teams and large-scale initiatives at Harvard's Children's Media Lab, TikTok, and Netflix. Walden Media, and Tonik Productions. She has represented big tech companies in global regulatory negotiations and industry conferences, and has spoken as an expert in youth technology for numerous press events. Through her consultancy, Mediageist, Dr. Elizabeth currently advises content executives and technology companies on youth safety policy development, global maturity ratings, and family-friendly product design.
